Udyam registration benefits

Udyam is the official MSME registration. It has no fee, is paperless and is based on PAN and Aadhaar, and it is the gateway to CGTMSE, priority-sector lending, delayed-payment protection and most government schemes.

Eligibility

  • Any manufacturing or service enterprise within MSME investment and turnover limits
  • Retail and wholesale traders can register for priority-sector lending purposes

  • Aadhaar of the proprietor / partner / director
  • PAN of the enterprise (and GSTIN where applicable)

  1. Register at udyamregistration.gov.in (no fee) — beware of paid look-alike websites
  2. Investment and turnover are pulled automatically from ITR and GST data
